Rider the Siberian Husky at Bribie Island

My favourite local beach shooting location at Bribie Island is just magical in winter!

Craig was visiting me from New Zealand for Unleashed Education related stuff and we needed a break from all the pet photography education planning we were doing, so we asked my friend Kay from Brisbane pet supply store Chew Chomp and Chill to bring along her new pup, gorgeous Husky boy Rider, for us to photograph.

Towards the end of the session, smoke from a nearby fire (just some routine burning-off) drifted over the sun and we were treated to some epic warm light - you'll see that most obviously in the silhouettes. 🧡
