I can't believe it, our youngest Aussie is three today. I missed his second birthday as I was away in NZ playing in the snow, so here's two years worth of "best of Enzo" photos to make up for it. Most often referred to as Wee Man or Mr Pickle, Enzo is the laziest of our Aussies, declining to engage in competitive fetch games but always happy to snatch the toy when the others come in close range, proudly bringing it back to us to take the credit.
Read MoreHappy 8th birthday to my #1 model, Fletcher! He's still got it, and doesn't look a day over 2, wouldn't you agree? Not really showing any signs of slowing down, but his opinions about things are only getting stronger with age. Still loves his dad the best!
Read MoreHappy birthday to my special little lady Opal today! She's spent the morning so far getting wet, dirty and disgusting with her Grandad who is visiting - so instead of a birthday photo from today, here's a selection of nice photos that I've taken since her last birthday.
Read MoreI can't believe it's been 7 years with this guy already. From day one he was Marty's dog and nothing has changed - he is still obsessed with his dad and has to be with him at all times! He has very definite ideas about things and is a real "thinker" - carefully analysing situations and then loudly voicing his opinion or silently protesting.

Read MoreHappy 6th birthday to my main man Fletcher today! On a recent trip to the forest to take some photos, he proved again why he's my #1 when it comes to modelling. Look at this guy go! He might be getting older but like fine wine, he only gets better. What a star!
Read MoreIt was July 2007. Armed with laminated A4 prints, shiny new business cards and a promotional banner, I first launched my new dog photography business at a local pet event on the Gold Coast. At the time, I had big dreams and high hopes, but no idea my business would grow to the extent it has, nearly 11 years later!
Read MoreA huge thank you to all my wonderful clients in 2017! I had my last shoot for the year yesterday and am looking forward to some time off in the coming weeks – it’s been a huge year! This year was my 10th year of Charlotte Reeves Photography – a business that has been dedicated to specialising in pet photography from the very start.
Read MoreReflecting upon the past year, I am grateful for another wonderful year of being in business, following my dream as a pet photographer. It was an eventful year for me personally as well, so in addition to a Best of 2015 post with all my favourite client images I thought I’d share a little personal insight into my year.
Read MoreIf you’ve been following me for a while you might remember we used to have a little Jack Russell cross called Archie, who we lost to a tick a couple of years ago. He and Luna were best buddies and though she gets along fine with Araya the cat, who we adopted last year from Pets Without Partners, we’ve been wanting to add another dog to complete our furry family for a while now. I must admit I fell in love with the Australian Shepherd breed after photographing a few of them – I love their energy and sense of fun and adventure – their trainability and just how gorgeous they are in general!
Read MoreThis personal project was a collaboration between myself, my good friend Yolanda from fashion blog BNE Style, and model and blogger Aicha from The Fashion Heist, with clothing supplied by designer Jessica Tovey. I’d had the idea of using a dog in a fashion-style themed shoot and what better breed than a Great Dane!
