Following on from my personal wrap-up of 2015 – here’s some of my favourite shots taken at client shoots and mentoring sessions from 2015. For aspiring pet photographers who like to see lens and exposure specs, I’ve included them on all photos for you. All photos were taken with my Canon 1D-x camera body and all use 100% natural light.
Read MoreI was lucky enough to be invited along to have a stall at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk in Samford again this year, after attending for the first time in 2014. I live about 12 minutes away from Samford, it’s great to have one of these walks so close by where I can connect with locals!
Read MoreWhen a love for big dogs and a love of running combined, the obvious breed of choice for Karla was a Cane Corso. Closely related to the Neapolitan Mastiff, the Cane Corso is well muscled and athletic, but not as bulky as some of the other mastiff breeds.
Read MoreLast year I attended the brand new Logan Million Paws Walk (see the photos here) which was heaps of fun, but when this year’s walk rolled around I had the opportunity to have a stall at my local Samford walk, so I jumped at the chance! Samford is just 5 minutes down the road from me so this was very convenient and gave me the opportunity to meet lots of locals and their dogs.

Though I didn’t get around to taking his picture that day, I remember seeing him through the bars of his run and thinking what a gorgeous looking dog he was and that surely, he’d have no trouble finding a new home.
