Staffies would have to be one of the most popular breeds in Australia, so as you’d expect I’ve photographed quite a few of them. Bella would have to be one of the most active though. This girl was ALL about her ball – or whatever toy you have on hand to throw for her, including her colour-coordinated purple Kong!

Read MoreI first met Turbo on one of my regular visits to the Peninsula Animal Aid shelter to take photos of the dogs available for adoption. Though I didn’t get around to taking his picture that day, I remember seeing him through the bars of his run and thinking what a gorgeous looking dog he was and that surely, he’d have no trouble finding a new home.

He’s owned by one of my good friend’s partner’s sister (follow that?) and I’d already been privy to some sneaky peek shots of this rather unusual looking boy.
