New Product ~ Storybook Albums

To say I am excited about these new albums would be an understatement! I have been searching for the perfect lay-flat, magazine-style album to offer my clients for a while now and when I came across these new release albums from my supplier, I just had to order some samples to see if they were as beautiful as I suspected. And they are! With my more traditional-style Session or Deluxe Albums, it’s always a challenge to narrow the number of images down to either 22 (for the small album) or 32 (for the large album).

With these new Storybook Albums, each spread can be designed individually with a different layout per page, allowing for EVERY image from the session to be included! Once you’ve ordered one of these, I’ll put together a storyboard and send that through to you for approval. The only decision you have to make is which image you’d like for the cover – easy!

The cover image is printed on gorgeous metallic paper, then set behind a panel of thick acrylic for a wonderful 3D effect. In the Small Storyboard Album (8×8 inches), the remaining cover material is Leatherette, as pictured below.

Each spread of the album allows cover-to-cover printing, meaning your beautiful images will always be seen at their best. The pages are thick and luxurious and images are printed on fine art, lustre archival paper, rated to 75 years. This results in the images appearing vibrant and crisp, just how they are designed to be appreciated.

The albums feature a lay-flat design, which means double page spreads of your favourite images are possible with just a small crease through the middle.

The large size (9×12 inch) albums are truly gorgeous. Featuring the same metallic acrylic mounted print for the cover, they also feature high quality genuine black leather for the spine and back cover. The quality and feel of these has to be seen to be believed.

As with the Small Storybook Album, the larger version allows for many different layouts, allowing me to custom design your album to show off your images in the best possible way. No more choosing just one shot per page, the layout possibilities are endless!

Both the Small and Large albums allow for around 20 spreads, which is generally enough to display every image from your session. If you end up with more images than the usual 40 or so, we can still include them! I’ll design the album to suit the images, and you won’t be charged extra for additional spreads.

The Small Storybook Album is priced at $600 and the Large Storybook Album is priced at $800. To celebrate their release, if you book a springtime session in September or October and order one of these beautiful albums, I’ll take $50 off the price.
